COMPARED / JOBBER

LANDA vs Jobber: Which One Does Your Business Need?

Different tools for different problems, and most companies eventually need both.

What Jobber is.

Jobber is field service management software. Scheduling, dispatch, quoting, invoicing and payments, in one product used by a lot of home service businesses. It is mature, well supported, and you can be running on it this week.

What LANDA is.

LANDA does not sell you a product. It builds the connections and the handling around the tools you already run: the call that arrives when nobody can answer, the follow-up nobody had time for, the information that has to be retyped between two systems that do not talk.

Choose Jobber when

  • You have no system at all and need scheduling, invoicing and payments working quickly.
  • Your process is close enough to standard that off-the-shelf fits without a fight.
  • You want a vendor with support staff, a help centre and a roadmap.

Choose LANDA when

  • You already pay for something like it and the problem is what happens outside it.
  • The expensive gap is before the job exists: the missed call, the quote that went quiet.
  • Something about how you actually work refuses to fit the boxes the software provides.
Where Jobber is the better answer

If you have nothing today, buy the software. Seriously. A company with no system does not need a custom anything, it needs scheduling and invoicing that work by Friday, and a mature product will do that better and cheaper than any build. Come back when the gaps around it start costing you.

Usually it is both.

The common ending is both. The platform runs the jobs; a small amount of connective work handles the intake, the follow-up and the places where two systems have to agree. That is usually the cheapest version of the whole thing.
