Simple Roofer.
Make a complex service feel straightforward.
A Houston service website paired with a customer transparency portal and CRM workflows.
Owner-operated business01 /The context
What needed
to work better.
Homeowners need to understand the work, the cost, and what happens next. The business needs a clear path from an inquiry to the project information customers keep asking for.
02 /What was built
- A service website with quote intake, service-area content, practical guides, and a visible explanation of the process.
- Customer portal interfaces for project status, costs, documents, photos, messages, and referrals.
- CRM screens for pipeline management, lead records, quote building, scheduling, and reports.
03 /The thinking
The public site explains the service. The portal organizes the ongoing relationship. Keeping these two jobs distinct makes the information easier to find for both prospective and existing customers.
04 /The decisions
The website exists to be understood, not admired
A roofing site's job is to explain the work clearly enough that a homeowner knows what they are buying and feels able to call. That constraint decided the structure, the page depth and what was left out.
A customer portal changes what support costs
Most calls to a contractor are a customer asking where things stand. Giving that information a place the customer can reach removes the call rather than answering it faster.
Captions describe only what is visible
On the project gallery, the wording deliberately never diagnoses a roof from a photograph. Putting a diagnosis on a website that cannot be stood behind is a claim, and claims are the thing a contractor gets held to.
05 /Where it fits
Useful for contractors and local service businesses where customers need regular updates, paperwork, and a clear view of the next step.

Did this replace existing roofing software?
No. It addressed the public side and the customer-facing gaps around whatever else is in use.
Can the same be done for another contractor?
The structure transfers. The content does not, and a roofing site that reads like a template is worse than no site.
